Credit Score Checker values your privacy. This policy explains what data the app uses, what it does not collect, and how local storage works.

Credit Score Checker is an independent educational app designed to help you understand credit scores, estimate score ranges, and learn practical improvement tips.

You can use the app without creating an account, signing in, or sharing personal identity details.

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by any credit bureau (such as Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion) or official credit reporting service. Scores shown in the app are estimated educational scores only.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not directly collect or store the following personal information:

Name
Phone number
Email address
Home or mailing address
Date of birth
Government ID or Social Security numbers
Banking credentials or financial account details
Contacts, photos, or camera content
Precise GPS location
Payment card details

No sign-up, login, OTP, social login, or registration is required.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide app functionality, Credit Score Checker may store limited local data on your device:

Theme preference (Light Mode / Dark Mode)
Calculator inputs and results during your current session (used only for on-device score estimation)

Financial information you enter (such as payment history percentage or credit utilization) is processed locally for educational score estimation and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not maintain user accounts or cloud profiles.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Credit Score Checker uses Google AdMob to show banner and interstitial ads. Google may collect certain technical data (such as Advertising ID, device info, IP address, and ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads according to Google policies.

5. Offline Use and Network

Core educational features and the credit score calculator work without account creation. Most content and calculations are available directly on your device. An internet connection is required for loading ads and other network-dependent services.

6. Sharing Content

If you use your device’s share feature (for example, Share App), sharing is handled by your selected apps (e.g., messaging or email apps). We do not receive shared content unless you explicitly send it to us.

7. Third-Party Services

Other than Google AdMob for advertising, Credit Score Checker does not use social login, cloud account sync, or personal account data collection.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. Ad-related data processing may be handled by AdMob/Google as part of ad serving.

9. Permissions

The app is designed to avoid unnecessary sensitive permissions. No account permission prompt is required to use the app.

10. Data Security

Because there is no user account system, there is no personal login profile stored by us. Locally stored app data remains on your device unless you clear app storage or uninstall the app.

11. Children’s Privacy

Credit Score Checker is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You may clear local app data anytime: Settings → Apps → Credit Score Checker → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes local preferences and any session data stored on your device.
