CredBack helps you apply for a home loan, loan against property, or auto loan in a few guided steps. This page explains, in plain terms, exactly what information the app collects, where it goes, and how you can ask us to delete it.
1. Information we collect
CredBack only asks for what a loan specialist genuinely needs to start working on your application. There is no login, no document upload, and no government ID number collected in the app. Specifically, when you fill in and submit an application, we collect:
• Contact details — full name, mobile number, email address. Used to reach you about your application.
• Loan requirement — loan type, purpose, amount requested, preferred tenure.
• Location — your state and city, and (for property/vehicle loans) the state, city, and estimated value of the asset. No street address is collected.
• Employment & income — employment type, employer or business name, nature of business, years in the role, monthly and annual income, other income and its source, and ITR filing status where applicable. Used only to estimate loan eligibility.
• Anything you type in "remarks" — an optional free-text note to your specialist.
We do not collect: your PAN, Aadhaar, or any other government ID number; your date of birth; passwords; precise GPS location; or any data through advertising or analytics tools — CredBack does not use any.
Your information is used solely to:
• Route your application to a loan specialist who can act on it
• Give you an early, indicative sense of loan eligibility based on income and existing commitments
• Let a specialist contact you by phone or email about your enquiry
• Keep an internal record of enquiries for CredBack's own follow-up and reporting
We do not use your information to show you ads, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Submitting an application sends your details to two places, both operated for CredBack — nowhere else:
• An email to your CredBack loan specialist, sent via EmailJS, an email-delivery provider, purely as the mechanism that carries the message — EmailJS does not use your data for any purpose of its own.
• A private Google Sheet, operated by CredBack (credback30@gmail.com), where every application is logged as one row for internal lead tracking.
Both the specialist's inbox and the Google Sheet are private and restricted to CredBack staff. We do not share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or any other outside organisation, except where required by law or regulation.
Because CredBack has no separate database, your submitted information lives only in the specialist's email inbox and the internal Google Sheet described above. We retain it for as long as reasonably needed to process your enquiry and to keep a business record of it, and we delete it sooner on request — see "Your rights" below.
You can ask us at any time to:
• See what information we hold about you
• Correct any detail that's inaccurate
• Delete your application record from our inbox and our sheet
• Withdraw consent to be contacted about your enquiry
Send a request to either address under "Contact us" — we'll act on it within a reasonable time and confirm once it's done.
Data leaves your device over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the specialist's inbox and the Google Sheet is restricted to authorised CredBack staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely infallible, but we take reasonable, proportionate steps to protect your information given the scale of a small lending-advisory business.
CredBack is a lending-enquiry tool intended for adults capable of entering into a loan agreement. It is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
