CreatorKit ("the app", "we", "us") is published by Varsha Patel. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes and the choices you have. Short version: your deals, brands, amounts and notes stay on your iPhone. We have no account system and no server of our own.
1. Information that stays on your device
Everything you enter into CreatorKit is stored only on your device: deals, brands, contacts, deliverables, payments, invoices, media kit details, notes, tax settings and your profile. We never receive it, and we cannot see it, sell it or share it.
- Screenshots and shared text. When you pick a screenshot or share a message into CreatorKit, it is read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. It is not uploaded anywhere.
- Photos. CreatorKit asks for permission only to save an exported media kit image to your photo library. It does not read your library, except for a screenshot you choose yourself.
- Face ID. If you turn on the app lock, Face ID is handled entirely by iOS. The app never receives your biometric data.
- Reminders. Notifications are scheduled on your device. They are not push notifications from a server.
- Widgets and the share extension exchange a small summary with the app inside your device through an App Group.
- Backups and exports (PDF, spreadsheet, image, backup file) are created on your device and go only where you choose to send or save them.
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it, unless you have saved a backup yourself.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The app uses the following services from Google. They collect limited technical information. They do not receive the content of your deals, brand names, amounts, notes or anything you type.
Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events, such as which screens are opened and which features are used. It also collects device type, OS version, app version, country, and an app instance identifier. We use it to understand which features are useful. You can turn it off in Settings inside the app.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports, including the device model, OS version, the state of the app at the moment of the crash and an installation identifier. We use them to find and fix bugs. You can turn this off in Settings as well.
Firebase Remote Config — lets us adjust some app settings, such as how often ads appear or the free-plan limit, without an app update. It uses an installation identifier.
Google AdMob (free plan only) — shows ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), but only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. It may also collect your IP address, which gives an approximate location, along with device information and your interactions with ads. Google uses this to serve and measure ads, and to personalise them where you have allowed it. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice first. You can change that choice later in the app's Settings. CreatorKit Pro subscribers see no ads, and no ad requests are made for them.

3. Other network requests
- App Store update check. The app asks Apple's public App Store lookup service whether a newer version exists. Only the app's identifier is sent.
- Privacy policy and terms pages. When you open one of these from the app, it is loaded from our website.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active.
4. Tracking
"Tracking" in Apple's sense happens only through AdMob, and only if you allow it in the iOS tracking prompt. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. If you decline, you still see ads on the free plan, but they are not personalised using your advertising identifier.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and there is no sign-in.
- We do not read your deals, invoices or income.
6. Children
CreatorKit is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Your rights
Your content lives on your device and is fully under your control: you can edit, export or delete it at any time. The limited technical data held by Google is described in its policies above. Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or India's DPDP Act, you may have the right to access or delete data about you or to object to its use. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
