Dr. Elby Beddes, PhD
Dr. Elby Beddes is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Colorado State University Pueblo. Her key areas of work and research focus on Educational Psychology, Experiential Learning, Psychology of Art, and Arts-based Research. She completed her doctoral work at the University of Northern Colorado, earning a PhD in Educational Psychology with a doctoral minor in Applied Statistical Research Methods. She is also presently serving as co-chair of the IRB at CSU Pueblo.

Joy graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo, completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certification in Community Impact, offered through the Honors department. Joy's primary research area is how creative expression can promote healing. After earning her Bachelor's degree, Joy plans to continue her education by pursuing a master's degree to become a clinical counselor.
