COMPONENTS

Before heading to create your spaceship, don't forget to familiarise yourself with the following components you will require to design your spaceship!🚀

SOLAR PANEL

Transform sunlight into energy! This component is needed by a spaceship to generate power. Without solar panels, the ship will not be powered and any other components will not work. A spaceship with insufficient power is darker and does not function.

OPTICAL INSTRUMENT

An instrument on the ship that is utilized for gaining an understanding of how the world or our surrounding universe works. If this module is powered, it will generate science!

COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

The communication systems of the ship. These are needed to communicate any science done by the ship back to earth.

THRUSTERS

Thrusters are used to move the ship around in space, allowing it to make corrections to its course or rotate around. The maneuverability of a ship is based on the weight of its components and the amount of thrusters it has.

UNITY MODULE

The unity module is used to provide a certain amount of astronauts with a comfortable living space and a place to sleep. (If the ship can even sustain life of course!)

HALLWAY

A component made with the purpose of connecting one component to the other.

THREE-WAY SEGUE

A component made with the purpose of connecting three components together.

FOUR-WAY SEGUE

A component made with the purpose of connecting four components together. This type of hallway is the heaviest.

OBSERVATORY

The observatory can be used by humans to generate a nice boost of science. Having multiple observatories on one ship does not increase science production more than having just one.

SUSTAINABILITY SYSTEMS

The sustainability systems are in charge of the oxygen regulation of your ship. It pumps fresh breathable air around, making the spaceship livable place for astronauts.

HYDRATION LOGISTICS SYSTEM

The water regulation systems for your ship. It pumps water around where needed (Laboratories or Unity modules) and provides astronauts with drinkable water and a waste management system.

LABORATORY

Made for astronauts do perform science in. Only a set amount of astronauts fit in one laboratory.
