Creative Mines Gavel Club was founded in 2013 by two visionary Distinguished Toastmasters, the late DTM Sunil Shenoy and DTM Mohan Kamath. Their unwavering mentorship laid the foundation for a community of speakers who have gone on to inspire change and make a lasting impact in the world around them.

Originally established as a community club for Al Mankhool residents, Creative Mines quickly grew beyond its roots. Recognizing the need to expand its reach, the club opened its doors to aspiring speakers from across the UAE, fostering a diverse and inclusive platform for individuals to develop their public speaking skills and leadership potential.

For a decade, the club thrived under the remarkable leadership of DTM Anuradha Kamath, who served as Club Coordinator from 2013 to 2023. Her efforts transformed Creative Mines into a beacon of excellence, achieving milestones such as:

• Expanding membership to over 50 gaveliers at its peak.

• Forging strong relationships with other clubs across the UAE and GCC.

• Nurturing young leaders who have gone on to win district-level contests and play pivotal roles in establishing new clubs nationwide
