Ms. Shay Hadley
Ms. Shay Hadley- Burnett is the Founder and Director of Creative Minds Academy, a private school dedicated to providing students with a strong academic foundation in a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Ms. Hadley-Burnett holds an Associate degree in Behavioral Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology with a Counseling Foundation and a Master's degree in General Psychology. She is currently pursuing doctoral-level studies in Education. She is also a proud member of the Alpha Alpha Alpha Honor Society (Tri-Alpha), recognizing her academic achievement as a first-generation college student.
With a diverse professional background in education, behavioral support, healthcare, administration, and leadership, Ms. Burnett brings a well-rounded and practical approach to student success. Her experience working with children, families, and structured environments has shaped her ability to create systems that support both academic growth and positive behavior.
Ms. Hadley-Burnett founded Creative Minds Academy with a clear vision: to create a school where students thrive through structure, consistency, and individualized support. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, improve focus, and develop the skills needed for long-term success.
At Creative Minds Academy, Ms. Hadley-Burnett emphasizes small class sizes, structured classrooms, and a positive, respectful school culture. She believes every child deserves to feel supported, understood, and capable of success.
Known to students and families as “Ms. Shay B,” she is committed to creating a school environment where students feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to grow both academically and personally.
