May 2022 . Apart from all the activities of the Career Fair that our school organised from the 9th to the 13th of May, our school also included cultural visits and leisure activities to make the whole experience an unforgettable international experience for our student guests and teachers. In the afternoon Maria Dalmau, an HR Expert came to talk to us about requitment and we all took part in an assessment centre, an innovative method to select and recruit new employees. On Wednesday we participated in a fun Speed interviewing activity when we put into practice our employability skills and our elevator pitch. On Thursday we had a very motivational conference from Marc Fernández, an entrepreneur who is a consultant for many startups and new firms. Later that morning each school presented innovative and fun activities to boost and improve our employability skills. The Career Fair has been a great success. March 2022 - From the 20th to the 26th of March, one of the mobilities of the program took place in the Italian city of Bari where students shared activities related to the skills and abilities needed to undertake and start innovative business projects that add value to the town or region where they live.
FEDAC Manresa students talked about the process of working with the canvas methodology while showing 4 examples of the businesses the teams created in class during the last few weeks.
Apart from visiting the city of Bari, students have also had the opportunity to visit other places of great heritage interest in the Puglia region such as Alberobello, Lecce and Polignano a Mare.

March 2022. During the last few weeks we have been learning about the Canvas Business Model as an entrepreneurship method to create your own businesses. We started with a Brainstorming session to figure out what businesses could be good for our town and region. Then we started the canvas fousing on the Value Proposition of our products or services and we worked on the type of cutomers we were targeting and the relationship we wanted to have with them. We also looked into the key activities our businesses would do and what were the resources we needed to perform the key activities. Later we analysed the financial aspect of our businesses looking at the costs we would have and the way we would generate revenue. Finally, we also looked into the partners we needed to deliver our product and service with success.
When the canva was finished, we decided to promote our businesses with an advertising campaign desiging a logo, a poster and a video commercial.
February 2022 - The mobility in Portugal has been great! We have had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and have created a lot of new memories for the future.
We visited Matosinhos after getting to know each other through fun ice breaking activities. We presented the activities we had prepared in class to share them with the other partners on the topic of Personal Career Development. We also participated in a game to find out cool things about Matosinhos. On Wednesday we spent the morning at the beach surfing and playing beach games. We had a great time. We also learned a lot from an expert in personal Marketing, who gave a very engaging talk about the topic. Finally, we spent the last day in Oporto enjoying its rich history and heritage. At the end of the day, we said goodbye to our friends in a Farewell dinner.
January 2022 - Before going to the mobility in Portugal, we have undertaken many activities to explore personal career development with the aim to explain them and share them in Portugal. We have learned how to do a personal SWOT analysis, we have also learned mindfulness techniques to deal with stress. Time management was also an important part of our activities as we played games to learn how to manage our time better. Finally, we explore how verbal and non verbal communication has a very important role in our development. We made a digital CV and simulated job interviews to later analyse body language and speech.
December 2021. Fortunately, FEDAC Manresa school has been able to take part in the Mobility in North Macedonia this December. The topic of this mobility was “Design Thinking”. Students in FEDAC Manresa worked hard to understand and test different design thinking techniques with the goal to share their learning with that of the other participants in the Mobility. They filmed a video with the activities with the aim to share it with the other partners in Macedonia. With this article you can see the video on Design Thinking presented by the students, as well as a video summary of the entire mobility in North Macedonia.
October 2021: To learn about jobs of the past, the present and the future, and considering that we could only take part in the Romania’s Mobility online, we’ve decided to organise activities to complement the video conferences with our partners by organising a talk with a board game designer, who told us all about his creative job. We’ve also visited a company that creates VR content, something that we will use more and more in the future and that has captivated the students’ attention.
October 2021: The COVID pandemic has made important changes in our project, the most important of them being the extension of the project for an entire year.
We have been working hard all this time, but unfortunately our school has not been able to take part in the first mobility planned after the lookdown which has been in October 2021. Therefore, FEDAC Manresa has taken part in this mobility only online connecting to the three videoconferences to share and present our short films on “Jobs of the past”, “Jobs of the present” and “Jobs of the Future”. Here you can see the three videos that we presented during the connections.
November 2019. We’ve celebrated the first mobility of our newly started Erasmus Plus project “Creative Vibrations''. 5 students from FEDAC Manresa with 2 teachers have been to Lodz in Poland to take part in the first project mobility dedicated to Gamification.
The students have shared experiences and learned new business skills through board games and computer games. There has been time for team building activities and of course to visit the amazing Polish cultural heritage in Lodz and Warsaw.
