You can follow this video or you could use a sock bun. If your dancer has short hair please pull their hair out of their face as best you can. We like to do the bun with wet hair and use gel and hairspray to pull away all the hair wispeys. 

We highly recommend you have your dancer in stage makeup due to the heavy lighting. Without makeup the dancers faces get washed out and the audience will not be able to see their features and expressions.  We do however not require stage makeup as we respect your decision as a parent to use it or know. Do know that it does help their face to be seen.
