When human history is studied with a deep and unbiased perspective, one truth emerges with absolute clarity: the universe and human society operate under proven physical, biological, and scientific laws. This scientific system of the cosmos is not bound by anyone's emotions, desires, or verbal slogans. Nations that comprehend these natural and scientific realities and ground their thoughts and actions upon them achieve a dignified and formidable position in the world. Conversely, nations that turn a blind eye to facts and attempt to live merely on verbal claims and false assumptions are inevitably destined for decline.

To understand this fundamental principle of progress and decline in the world, we must compare two distinct mindsets.

The first mindset is what we can call the scientific and practical approach. Societies harboring this way of thinking believe that human existence, its environment, and all its progress are contingent upon scientific research, experimentation, and hard work. These societies prioritize reason, logic, and facts over emotions. They understand very well that curing illness is possible only through medicine and medical research, that agricultural advancement requires scientific methods, and that productivity and discipline are essential for a robust economy.

All the energies of these societies are dedicated to understanding the scientific laws of the world and harnessing them for human welfare. Education, research, freedom of speech, and critical thinking hold fundamental importance there. Every step they take is illuminated by facts; hence, they lead the world in modern technology, medicine, and systems of living. Their rise is not the result of any miracle, but the direct fruit of accepting scientific realities and engaging in practical effort.

In sharp contrast, the second mindset relies on superficial slogans, wordplay, and superstition rather than realism. Societies exhibiting this intellectual attitude refrain from acknowledging scientific and physical facts. They are accustomed to blaming others for all their failures, misery, and ignorance, and have lost the capacity to listen to the truth or bitter realities.

In these regions, solutions to problems are not sought through scientific research, modern education, and practical action, but merely through lip service and emotional narratives. While immense emphasis is placed on superficial display and grand claims, complete silence and failure become evident when it comes to action, cleanliness, truth, and discipline.

The greatest tragedy of this mindset is that it subjects human beings to intellectual stagnation. When scientific and rational thinking is suppressed in a society, and only traditional and emotional narratives are accepted as the ultimate truth, creative potential vanishes. Such a society becomes entirely incapable of competing with new inventions and modern thinking, gradually falling centuries behind the rest of the world.

Here, a scientific reality becomes crystal clear: no verbal slogan can match the power of action and truth. The law of nature is unyielding and impartial. It has no regard for who makes grand claims; it solely judges based on who has acknowledged reality and put in practical effort. If a nation adopts scientific knowledge, hard work, discipline, and truth, it will advance—regardless of its background. And if a nation rejects scientific thought and relies merely on verbal assertions, it will fail to save itself from destruction and dependency on others.

The only way to escape true decline is to completely reject all emotional narratives, superficial display, and superstition. We must accept that the universe and society function purely on the basis of reason, scientific laws, constitution, and action. Until this truth is acknowledged and our behaviors are transformed accordingly, the clouds of darkness and decline cannot be dispersed.
