This is the heart behind my art. To deepen joy in your life in some way by imitating God's good and beautiful designs. Each piece of artwork that you see has a story behind it and was made as an act of processing, worshipping, lamenting, celebrating, expressing, encouraging.  I hope and pray that something you see will 


A little about me.. 

I am, like you, a child of God, wonderfully made, deeply loved, graciously forgiven, called to follow after Christ's example through the work of God in my life and in His word. This is my identity. 

My most important and precious role on this earth is to be a wife and a mother. Wife to Blair, my love. My husband of 10 years. My best friend and biggest supporter. Mama to my 3 precious little duckings who make my life chaotically, joyfully, humblingly (I made that word up, but you know what I mean) rich. 

Some of the things that make me me are a love for intentional words, community, being outside, campfires, coffee, swimming, being in awe, flying, musicking, conducting, teaching, baking, making a space beautiful and functional, and of course, creating. 

As an artist, I love color and the challenge of matching, mixing, investigating color. I love to use nature as inspiration. I love free and messy movement but also love the challenge of realism, so there is a bit of both. I love words and music expressed through visuals. I love learning and explornig and my style is ever-changing becuase of this.
