The Numinous Films brand is Telling Truth with Context & Clarity.
Joël René Scoville and Robert Scoville formed Numinous Films due to a desire to create jobs and opportunities for their colleagues in the Las Vegas entertainment community. Together, they have over 50 years of film and theatre experience.
Our mission is to create and produce films that showcase a non-traditional narrative often overlooked in mainstream media for marginalized voices.
We believe that in order to do so, the creators on these projects need to reflect that non-traditional narrative. We do this by engaging the talents and creativity of people from lesser represented communities in the entertainment industry. It is only by doing this that no matter how fearful we are of what we don't know or understand, we can begin to be awed by the uniqueness and beauty of the world we live in. Always ensuring that our experience in film, in life, is NUMINOUS.

This couple has been married three times. Their story is so untraditional, but unique, like so many stories. Telling untold stories is becoming the fascination of our age. So many forgotten people need to be seen - we want to tell those stories, in narrative films, documentaries, or even Joël's passion, theatre.
Our mission at Numinous Films is to tell fierce and burning stories that have been hidden inside of brilliant people who've been marginalized for crude, dodgy or painful reasons.
Honestly, what we all need is to be loved. Love sparks a relationship we all desire.
