Calcifer is somewhat grumpy by nature. He has strong opinions on many things and isn't afraid to make his opinion known. He prefers to lead rather than follow. He is quite sarcastic and his personality rubs some the wrong way. While he won't keep his thoughts to himself he isn't purposely hurtful. The only one who can break through his rough and tough exterior is his mate Vanilla Bean whose kind gentle personality is able to calm even his hottest temper.
