The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam HPC Awards are meant to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of High Performance Computing work carried in India. This is an annual event entering into its third year. Poster for this year (2019) may be downloaded from here.
This category of award will be presented to individual or group, whose career has been devoted, has made outstanding and sustained contributions in HPC work carried in India.
This category of award will be presented to individual, whose is in the early stages of his or her career, who has made promising contributions in HPC.
In each category, there are sub categories.
The Jury panel consisting of eminent scientists, chaired by Professor N. Balakrishnan (Honorary Professor and former Associate Director of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore) evaluate the nominations and select the award winners.
