Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using CraveLab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Use of App
CraveLab is for personal, non-commercial use only. You must be 13 or older to use this app. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws.
Health and Wellness Disclaimer
CraveLab is a wellness and habit-tracking app designed to help users build healthier relationships with food. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
Information provided in the app, including AI-generated content from the in-app Coach (Jamie), food scan analyses, weekly reports, pattern insights, and educational content, is for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you have a medical condition, eating disorder, allergy, or any health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or behavior based on information from this app. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw in CraveLab.
In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Subscriptions
CraveLab offers monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions. Pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free Trial
Eligible new users may receive a free trial with full Pro access. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and RevenueCat. Once a trial has been used, it cannot be redeemed again on the same Apple ID.
Refunds
All subscription purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
AI-Generated Content
CraveLab uses AI to analyze food scans, generate weekly reports, power the in-app Coach, and provide personalized insights. AI-generated results are based on patterns and probabilistic models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
You should not rely on AI-generated content for:
• Medical or nutritional decisions
• Allergen or dietary restriction verification (always check physical food labels)
• Mental health support during a crisis
• Treatment of any health condition
Always verify important information from independent sources.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any content you create in the app, including craving logs, journal entries, weight data, and notes. By using the app, you grant CraveLab a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely for the purpose of providing you with the app’s features.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, features, mascot characters (including Jamie), and code in CraveLab are owned by CraveLab and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete Account. All personal data including cravings, scans, weight entries, meal photos, AI Coach conversations, and onboarding answers will be permanently removed from our systems.
Service Availability
We strive to keep CraveLab available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion. We are not liable for any temporary unavailability or loss of data due to service disruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CraveLab and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes, weight changes, dietary decisions, or emotional responses to app content.
Your use of CraveLab is at your own risk.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the app or other users.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CraveLab is operated. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable local law.
