Welcome to Crater School of Business, Science, and Innovation's Physical Education - Home Fitness Class. For the next few weeks you will be able to find different, fun, and exciting ways to stay active during this time of quarantine. This will be an amazing opportunity for you, the student, to hold yourself accountable to a workout routine so you can live a healthy and happier life!
As the student you will be asked to complete a total of TWO hours of logged physical activity per week. ONE HOUR per week can be activities of your choice. These activities include but aren't limited to: walking, jogging, hiking, backpacking, biking, swimming, geocaching, at home weight training, online group fitness classes, or any fitness related activity you may enjoy. ONE HOUR a week must be completed working along with an online fitness class provided through this class website via YOUTUBE.
Students are asked to complete one hour of online fitness classes per week. You have three different types of classes to choose from depending on your interests. The first choice is yoga or Pilates classes. These classes are known for helping individuals improve their mobility and strengthen core muscles. Student's second choice is to take part in a H.I.I.T. (High Intensity, Interval, Training) class. These fitness classes are designed to pump up your heart rate and improve overall strength. The final option students have are to participate in cardio dance classes. These classes include group workouts like Zumba and Hip Hop Fit. New videos will be added every week, so try new things and see what you enjoy!
