• The bones shuffle more smoothly.

• The film has more color,

• Captain Bones has a greasier look,

• His tone is more aggressive,

• The bones' movement is rough.

"Skeleton Crew" (Original Title):

On a LA Times article, Lynne Heffley reported about an upcoming channel owned by HBO called HBO Family. The article introduces two new original series, A Little Curious & Crashbox. In it, it states, "...In 'Skeleton Crew,' a surly skeleton pirate uses his own bones to lay out math problems on his ship’s deck."

Original Design:

An original design for Captain Bones was introduced by one of the creators of Crashbox, showing a more dreadful character than the one we know and love. The character was going to be more realistic and, by his appearance, was going to say curse words. His accessories are prevalent in the two designs; however, the newer one has a ring located on his left cheekbone.
