The Symposium on Analysis, Partial Differential Equations and Applications (SAnPA) is a scientific meeting focused on recent advances in partial differential equations (PDEs) and related areas of analysis. The event brings together researchers from different countries to share results, exchange ideas, and promote collaboration in both theoretical and applied aspects of PDEs.
SAnPA features invited talks by experts in the field, covering topics such as nonlinear equations, conservation laws, dispersive equations, parabolic equations, and applications in science and engineering. The symposium also supports the participation of early-career researchers and students, creating a welcoming environment for learning and interaction within the mathematical community.

The objective of this meeting is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences between researchers, at all career stages, from Latin America with their colleagues from Europe, Asia, and North America. We hope that this meeting generates a cordial and relaxed atmosphere for work and exchange. This will be the third conference focused on topics of mechanics and its applications. The conference will consist of expository talks with a duration of 20 - 30 min each. We expect to have a series of lectures devoted to different research fields of theoretical and applied mechanics. The main topics of the conference are (but are not limited to):
- Fluid mechanics
- Solid mechanics
- Vibrations and wave propagation
- Biomechanics
- Biomaterials and material modelling
- Modelling of green/renewable materials
- Composite materials. New materials
- Computational mechanics
- Artificial intelligence and its applications
We enthusiastically embrace mini courses. You are welcome to give the mini courses to the graduate and undergraduate students.
The registration fee for the conference is 500 US dollars (150 US dollars for students). It must be paid during the registration day of the conference. It includes coffee breaks, lunch, and conference dinner.
If you want to be informed about the planning and status of the conference, kindly send an email to the organizers. The template for abstract submission can be downloaded here (PASSWORD: Elactam26). The deadline is January 20th, 2026. Please, send the pdf of your abstract by e-mail to Prof Reinaldo Rodriguez Ramos (reinaldo@matcom.uh.cu, rerora2006@gmail.com).

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the “Trends in Mathematical and Data Sciences” workshop, which will take place from June 16 to 20, 2025, at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the Universidade Federal Fluminense, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This event is part of the PROBRAL-CAPES-DAAD project, a collaboration between the Universidade Federal Fluminense (coordinated by Prof. Juan Limaco) and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (coordinated by Prof. Enrique Zuazua).
This international workshop will bring together researchers from FAU-Germany and Brazil, fostering the growing connection between academia and industry. Tools from Machine Learning, Partial and Ordinary Differential Equations, and Control Theory will be used to explore the increasing application of mathematical models to industrial problems.

The Rio de Janeiro Fluid Mechanics Symposium (Rio Fluids) will be held in person at the Universidade Federal Fluminense on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
This conference aims to bring together researchers from universities throughout the State of Rio de Janeiro, working in all areas of fluid dynamics, for a one-day exchange of ideas in an informal and collaborative atmosphere.
To promote education and exposure, talks are invited from graduate students and postdocs, as well as from undergraduates who have been pursuing research.
Faculty and other undergraduate students are highly encouraged to attend.
