Agriculture education reaches beyond just high school students and reaches junior high students as well through projects such as personal bug collecting.

High school students learning by doing by processing full chicken carcasses to learn the different parts of the chicken and just how their food is made.

Students not only develop hard skills such as welding but they also learn soft skills such as public speaking and presentation skills as well.

Students are able to learn a variety of hard skills as well through the  ag department. One of the largest and well known is the principles of welding applications.

Before the addition of the school farm where we will be able to host hands on animal labs, students would practice a wide range of animal science skills on everyday items such as vaccinations with oranges.

Rain or shine students in (or outside of) the ag building are learning something new every day such as how to test soil compaction within fields and the importance of doing so.

With a little bit of hard work and dedication within the classroom students are able to reap lifelong benefits from different skills learned or projects that can be passed down from generations.

Students get experiences in a large variety of different career fields within the world of agriculture including the field of floral design.

Hard work is never easy and working hard will never go unnoticed within the agriculture department. Students learn quite quickly the meaning of the phrase "you reap what you sow."
