I am a marine ecologist with an interest in the impacts that early life processes have on marine population dynamics. A significant portion of my research uses hard structures such as shells or fish otoliths (ear stones) to reconstruct the conditions that marine animals experienced earlier in life.
I am also interested in the impacts that a changing environment will have on individuals, populations, and the ecosystems they are part of. In particular I am interested in the potential for transgenerational adaptation and the interaction of multiple stressors on marine organisms.
