Idle Hands Craft Ales is celebrating the re-release of their American Pilsner, Edgeworth, with a Malden River cleanup at 9:30am on Saturday, May 14th. What better way to show their appreciation for the city they call home and that inspired this brew than to give back and care for the community!
This event is in partnership with The Friends of The Malden River and will include meeting at Idle Hands' taproom for a short walk to the Malden River for cleanup, then walking back to the taproom for a pizza lunch and beer for of age volunteers. The cleanup will last about 2 hours and the lunch/ thank you party will be at 12pm.
Not only is this event doing great work to maintain Malden's beautiful river, but a portion of the Malden merchandise being sold at the event will go to the Mystic River Watershed Association! All they ask from you besides your generous participation is that you bring water, sunblock, study boots, long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sunglasses. Work gloves will be provided unless you want to bring your own!
Register for this event or find out more by searching "Malden River Cleanup" on Eventbrite.com
