A message from our school librarian, Mrs. Sirianni:
Help your child celebrate their birthday by choosing a book to donate to the Crafton Elementary Library in their honor!
Shop the Birthday Book Club to choose your book.
Once you choose a book and are ready to check out,
select "This is a Gift", and ship to: "Gift Registry
Address" (to ship the book directly to Crafton
Elementary). Finally, at the "Gift Message" prompt,
please add your student's name, homeroom,
birthday, and age.
Finally, once the book is delivered, I will process the
book for the library, and include a sticker in the
front cover with your child's name on it. I will
present the book to your student near their birthday
and they will be able to take the book home for the
week. The book will then be put into the Crafton
Elementary Library for all students to enjoy!
The free store is located in Carnegie Elementary School and provides free non-perishable foods to families in need in our school district.
Crafton Elementary has a donation box in the entry way of the school where students can drop off non-perishable food items ALL YEAR LONG.
Examples of items needed are:
- spaghetti noodles and sauce (preferably plastic containers)
- canned pasta meals
- rice
- mac and cheese
- fruit cups
Money donations are also accepted! You can send in cash donations with your student (labeled "Free Store, Attn Mr. Alexander"). The Free Store will use these donations to purchase reduced cost food directly from the food bank.
