Strokes to Determine Cross Over Position After Pool Play:
Pool rankings will be determined as follows: 3 Team points for a win, 1 Team point for a tie, 0 Team points for a loss. If teams are tied with team points, goal differential will be used to determine placement. If still tied, teams will meet up to compete in strokes at the conclusion of all the pool games, prior to tournament cross over games.
Strokes will be best of 3 and then sudden victory.
If Strokes are needed for Tie Breaker Pool Placement, they will be conducted at:
10:30 3rd-5th Experienced
10:50 3rd-5th Beginner
3:10 6th-8th Experienced
4:10 6th-8th Beginner
Over Time Tie Breaker Policy for Non-Pool Games:
5 Min Reduced Player 5v5 Sudden Victory, if still a tie then:
5 Min Reduced Player 4v4 Sudden Victory, if still a tie then:
Best of 5 Shootouts, if still a tie then:
Sudden Victory Shootouts until there is a winning team
**reduced player games allow unlimited substitutions and can be played with or without a gk. If playing 5v5 (for example) with a GK, it will be 4 field players plus a gk, if playing 5v5 without a gk it can be 5 field players. If a corner is called in reduced player OT, defense can only have 3 total defenders back for the corner, one less than allowed in regulation 7v7.
Team Awards:
6th-8th Experienced: 1st & 2nd place will receive Team Trophy. Top 4 teams will all receive Player Medals
6th-8th Beginner: 1st & 2nd will receive Player Medals
3rd-5th Experienced: 1st & 2nd place will receive Team Trophy. Top 4 teams will all receive Player Medals
3rd-5th Beginner: 1st & 2nd will receive Player Medals
***The number of player medals provided to each team who earns them will be based on the number of athletes on your roster via the player waivers.... if some your athletes have NOT completed the online waiver, they will NOT be included in the number of medals given to your team.
