Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 9, 2026
WR Tools ("we," "our," or "us") operates the CPU Bar mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
By downloading and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our App is designed to provide real-time system utilities (CPU monitoring) on your Android device.
A. Core Functionality (No Personal Data Collected)
The App reads hardware performance metrics (such as processor utilization) locally on your device to display the overlay bar.
This system performance data is processed entirely in real-time within the device's volatile memory. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your device’s internal hardware or performance statistics to external servers.
B. Device Permissions
To function properly, the App requires specific Android system permissions. You will be asked to grant these permissions when activating features:
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): Required to display the real-time CPU performance bar as a visual overlay on top of other running applications.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Required to keep the local CPU tracking process running reliably in the background when the screen is active.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13 and above to display the ongoing status notification, which allows you to easily reopen the App’s settings.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To keep our App free of charge, we use third-party advertising services provided by Google.
Google AdMob Our App integrates Google AdMob to display banner ads and rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymous data (such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, coarse/approximate location data, device information, and ad interaction data) to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements, ensure fraud detection, and measure ad performance.
Google's use of information collected through AdMob is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy:
