Booster Club Grant Application is now available! 

Deadline is Friday, February 9th, 2023 at 5:00 PM.

The Como Park Booster Club is accepting grant applications from student-led groups, school clubs, sports teams, and departments to assist in providing supplemental financial support for student extracurricular or enrichment programs and opportunities. Applicants may request funds to be used for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. If the Booster Club has funds available, there will be a second round of grant applications in the spring that will include funding for Fall 2024.

Grant Application Guidelines:

Como Park Booster Club provides supplemental funding to support extracurricular activities and enrichment programs for students at Como Park Senior High School. All grants from the Booster Club must be spent within 9 months of release.

The Como Park Booster Club generally does not fund the following activities or requests:

If teams or clubs wish to submit a request for any of the above purposes, they must make the case they are requesting due to specific hardship. If a request is funded for hardship, it does not indicate the Como Park Booster Club will fund this request in the future.

With your support, the Booster Club made grant awards totaling over $6,000 to 18 CPHS Clubs, Teams and Extracurriculars for programs that expand access and travel opportunities, enhance learning, grow leadership, and encourage students to share their skills, athletic experience and artistic expressions with Como High and their community. 

Fall 2018: MCJROTC, ELL, Spanish classroom, Cougar Journal - Como's literary magazine, Technovation Apps Club, Close Up Washington, ELL - Easy English News, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Como Culture Show and Community Potluck. 

Spring 2019: Como Park Senior DCD /ASD Program, Instrumental Music, Girls Basketball, Health Dept and Real Talk sub group of Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Choir, Como Girls Ultimate Frisbee, ELL - Urban Roots Field Trip, Boys Tennis, and Youth in Government
