Resort Amenities/ Community
Docks. Boat Launch. Swimming (See resort map above)
DOCKS | Cedar Point has 8 docks on the property. The dock in front of your cabin is your primary dock. You can dock your boat at this location. Please know that you are welcome to use any dock on the property for fishing.
For the house, the dock is the blue dock between cabins 6 and 7. You can dock your boat at this location on the cabin 7 side. This will allow the launch area to remain open.
BOAT LAUNCH | If you bring your own boat, the launch is located between cabins 6 and 7. Some guests will leave their boat in the water all week tied to their dock while others might take their boats out each day. We are fine with either option.
SWIMMING | Older kids and adults will generally swim around their primary dock. If you have little swimmers, the boat landing doubles as a small beach with a shallow area. Anyone is free to use this area.
Please note that for your safety, diving is not allowed off of the docks. Water shoes are recommended as there are rocks and boulders in the lake.
Community Fire Pit | In the middle of the resort you will find the community fire pit. The brown bin has chairs to use while enjoying the fire pit. In Minnesota, certified firewood is purchased. The cenex at the Remer junction has bundles that can be bought.
Toys | Behind the pumphouse is a bin with toys for kids and/ or adults. Please make sure to put them away when you're done using them.
Life Jackets and Oars/ Paddles | If you have rented a boat, there are life jackets available in the fish house.
Community Usage Items Canoe, Paddle Boat, Kayaks | Next to the swim area/ boat launch there is a canoe, paddle boat, and kayaks that can be used by guests at the resort.
Fish House | The fish cleaning house is located in the garage and accessed by the door on the southside under the fish sign. Please only have one group in the fish house at a time. When you are finished, make sure to follow the posted cleanup directions.
