Students from the Malware Analysis Lab have held multiple meetings and discussed many different topics with lead Malware Analysts from multiple prominent corporations from the industry. These topics range from careers in Malware Analysis to technical topics such as network architecture and disassembling malicious binaries. In addition, our students got the opportunity to tour the facilities of Symantec and the LA Cyber Lab. In the near future, the Malware Analysis Lab hopes to partner with these corporations and eventually receive technical training and malicious code samples to analyze. The Malware Analysis Lab presented at Cal Poly Pomona's annual Tech Symposium, a conference for students and professionals interested in information technology and cyber security. Our team presented on using IDA Pro to statically analyze malicious binaries

Our students have used the knowledge gained from the Malware Analysis Lab to educate fellow students about Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering. Emphasis was placed on creating a safe environment to analyze malicious software, and training with industry-standard tools was conducted
