Next Meeting: September 7th, 2021
The Pre-Medical Student Association (PMSA) is a pre-health organization at Cal Poly Pomona that helps students navigate their way through undergrad in order to pursue a career in health care. PMSA is proud to support students that are passionate about the healthcare field and helping others.
The association routinely volunteers in the surrounding communities, puts on educational workshops, and hosts Bone Marrow Drives to raise awareness of medical issues. They promote activities and services that cater to pre-professional students to make them stronger applicants when the time comes to apply to professional schools. During the school year, PMSA brings in experienced professionals (MD, DO, DPM, Nursing) to speak to members about their roles and experiences in healthcare. Additionally, PMSA members are able to attend medical school conferences around Southern California including the UC Davis Pre-Health Conference, SUMMA at Stanford, and the MAPSS Conference at CSU San Bernardino. The diverse cabinet and amazing members welcome any student to join the association.
