Founded in the year 2007, Liberal Studies is one of the many departments within the College of Education and Integrative Studies (CEIS). The Liberal Arts degree is one of the oldest university degrees. 

A liberal arts education secures students to move on to have successful careers in teaching. Not only are students left withbeing accomplished educators, but many leave with experiences and practices within the arts and sciences that cannot be obtained elsewhere. The discipline deepens students' understandings of the world that promotes equity, social justice, and critical thinking.
