Congratulations to everyone who swam at JV Conference yesterday!! There were some amazing time drops. Way to go! Champlin Park won the meet with 463 points! Elk River came in second with 447 points, and Anoka finished third with 345 points. Nice work Rebels!!

Practice: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3 to 5:30 pm. Saturday from 7:30 to 9:15 am. These practices are only for section swimmers and divers. Anyone who swam/dove at JV Conference is now finished for the season (though encouraged to come and watch the section meet and cheer!).

BANQUET- RSVPs are due by October 31. Every year we have a whole team banquet at the end of the season. Everyone gets some sort of recognition. We also announce the team awards (most improved, rookie of the year, most valuable, hardest worker) as well as the captains for next year. This year the banquet will be on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:30 pm at Edinburgh Golf Course (5:30 pm social hour, 6 pm dinner and awards banquet). Athletes are free but you need to RSVP. We also need to know how many others are coming (cost is $30 per person for anyone not on the team). The link to sign up is below:

Parka return- this was also emailed out yesterday

1.Please wash your parka in cold water and MILD laundry detergent.

2. Hang to dry or tumble dry LOW temperature only.

3. JV athletes will return October 28 or October 29 from 4PM to 6PM at Jackson Pool office with treasurer Katie

4. Parka will be inspected and deposit will be returned if Parka is in good condition.

Varsity return dates: Nov 11/12, 4-6PM

State swimmers will return at banquet check in.

Looking ahead-

The section meet will take place November 5, 6, and 7 at Minnetonka Aquatic Center.

Wednesday, November 5- swimming prelims at 6 pm

Thursday, November 6- all diving at 6 pm

Friday, November 7- swimming finals at 6 pm (top 16 in each individual event return to swim in finals)
