TSWR offers peer grief support after a death due to substance use. The grief support is provided through monthly in person and/or online zoom meetings, including a virtual Men’s Only group, Multiple Loss group, Only Child Loss group, Partner/Spouse Loss group, Sibling Loss group, People In Recovery Loss group, LGBTQ+ group, Loss Due to Suicide (surrounding substance use) Loss group and a Grieving Grandparents group. The in person meetings currently being held are in Bridgewater, Charlestown, Quincy, Worcester & Weymouth Massachusetts and Portland Maine. They also host a private Facebook group and monthly in person events for grievers. TSWR helps find those who are suffering with the loss of someone they love from substance use disorder or overdose and provides them with the care, compassion, understanding and support that they need.
