How do I get a plot?
All plots are currently assigned to gardeners. A new person will receive a plot when an existing gardener resigns his/her plot. Map of plots
Wait list
Cleveland Park Community Garden Association maintains a wait list based upon the date that a completed application for a plot is received.
The wait time varies year-to-year and is difficult to estimate since it is contingent upon the resignation of existing gardeners. Recently, the wait time has been about seven years.
If you are on the Waiting List:
You will be notified every year to confirm you still want to remain on the Waiting List. If you do not reply to these notices after several reminders, you will be removed from the Waiting List with the understanding you can re-apply to be on the Waiting List, though you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
When you are eventually offered a plot, you are allowed a one-time deferral. If you are offered a plot the next year and cannot use it at that time, you will be removed from the Waiting List with the understanding you can re-apply to be on the Waiting List, though you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
