Job Role Housing Support
1 Based in Cambridge
You must have a driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
Hours 37.5 Per week.
Hrs within 08.30 to 20.00 Mon to Sunday (mainly within 9-5 Mon to Friday )
Salary: £14.00hr.
Option to be part of On-Call rota at £210 Per week (£40 turn out fee) must be a car driver and have access to one to be on call, after the probation period has been completed.
The roles are located in Cambridge/Ely Mildenhall with regular travel to any of Charity's other operating locations (Cambridge, Ely and Haverhill)
Cambridge Pringle Group (CPG) is a charity offering specialist housing based in Cambridge with properties in Haverhill, Ely, Mildenhall, Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire.
We are a small organisation with 10 full and part-time employees, we are fairly unique in the way we deliver our services.
Job Role
The Housing Support Officer plays an important role in providing support for our residents. Tasks will include,
Oversee application and housing of new residents.
Spend time to get to know residents.
Property inspections in line with CPG policy.
Critical friend.
Repairs investigation and reporting,
Going the extra mile.
Ensure rents and benefits are in place and are paid accordingly.
Talk to family and friends - mediation.
Issuing Warnings, notices and enforcement including evictions.
Go out for coffee + cake.
Provide additional support, assistance or advice to CPG residents.
Advocacy of residents.
Regular liaising with all relevant agencies, both statutory and voluntary, on the residents behalf or the charity.
To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.
Required Skills/Knowledge
Good Interpersonal skills, be able to communicate clearly
Able to uphold professional boundaries
Honesty, respect, reliability and non judgemental approach, combined with the ability to deal with challenging behaviour in a non-confrontational way are all essential.

Qualifications / Experience.
Experience ideally 1 year and above, however many previous employment roles and skills are transferable.
