Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is a national volunteer-led, non-profit organization that works to advocate for bilingualism and French Second Language Learning across Canada.
CPF was established in 1977 and works to ensure that students across the country can benefit from quality French immersion and core French programs, creating bilingual citizens who are ready for Canada’s bilingual future.

Locally, CPF is brought to the Oceanside community through our small group of volunteers. Without a local Oceanside chapter, we would miss out on thousands of dollars every year for our school district and community.
Our volunteers help advocate and bring awareness of French language and culture through developing resources, working with our schools, and hosting fun events—like our annual Winter Wonderland Skate—for families.
