Hampshire College

Hampshire College is a liberal arts college in Amherst, Massachusetts. Founded in 1970, the college pursues an alternative approach to education focusing on self-directed curricula and a reliance on narrative evaluations instead of grades.

The summer institute will take place in two classrooms at Hampshire college and there will be rooms in the dorms for people who wish to stay on site overnight.

There is an Amtrak station in Northampton, Massachusetts.

There is free parking at Hampshire College.

We can organize carpools or pick up people from Amherst or Northampton.
