Hello! My name is Tiffany Dinh, and I am excited to be your new CPES librarian!  This is my first year in Tomball ISD and the start of my 15th year in education - 6 as a classroom teacher and now entering 9 as a librarian.  Some of my favorite books are Drawn Together, That Book Woman, and The Day You Begin.

I have been married for 13 years and our 2 children, Olivia and Anderson, are OIS and CPES Wildcats! I have a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M and Master of Library Science from SHSU.

My goal is continuing to grow the library program established by the amazing librarians before me and keep bringing book joy and fun to everybody!  See you in the library!

Hi, my name is Laurie Booke, and I'm proud to be your Canyon Pointe Elementary School Library Paraprofessional!

Welcome back Wildcats! I am so excited for the 2023/2024 school year! You are going to love our new librarian, Mrs. Dinh. Mrs. Dinh volunteered in our library last year so she may look familiar  to you already.

I can't believe I am starting my 10th year here at Canyon Pointe! I am a certified teacher in Elementary Education and have worked in the Education field for 18 years. I taught 1st grade for 3 yrs in New Jersey. Then in 2003 we moved in record time to Texas! Got here as fast as I could! I worked for Klein ISD doing short/long term Subbing while taking Texas Teaching Exams. I joined CPES to work in the Computer Lab and help students learn the basics in Computer knowledge, Access, and Safety. I then moved to the library (Mrs. Booke is in the Library!).

I am married to my 1st love, Frank, and we have five amazing children. Lance is retired Air Force and now works for Department of Energy. Our daughter, Kira is an instructor in the US Coast Guard and is getting married in October. Logan just finished 7 years in the Navy and is now attending college to be a Mechanical Engineer. Hunter is in the Army is based in Hawaii! Saving my pennies for that trip! And our last chapter child is a junior at Klein Oak High School. Since our children have lived all over the country we have traveled to almost all 50 states.

I grew up in a small town in upstate New York and attended one of the country's original Teacher Colleges (SUNY Oneonta - Go Red Dragons!) located in a town near the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, N.Y.

I love the outdoors, hiking, sports, Reading (History & Adventure), animals, traveling and Family time. I enjoy teaching children and look forward to sharing my love of learning and reading with our Wildcats! Welcome back everyone!
