My research interests focus on spatial interpolation methods, statistical modelling in e.g. demography, epidemiology, climatology, uncertainty quantification and computational statistics.
On the HOUSES project, I am currently working on: (1) the mathematical representation of the underlying spatial process, (2) the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of two uncertainty management frameworks (Bayesian approach and theories generalizing probabilities such as imprecise probabilities), and (3) the integration of uncertainty information to improve the communication of spatialized results.
