Canadian Public Economic Group Meeting 2017

November 2-4, 2017, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Canadian Public Economic Group (CPEG) conference will take place at Queen’s University on November 2nd - 4th. Please mark the date on your calendar.

The conference will involve presentations with discussants in all areas of empirical and theoretical public economics, including public finance, political economy, and policy oriented microeconomics.

Regular registration: 195 CAD + taxes through October 15 (late registration is 245 CAD + taxes up through Oct 25)

Student registration: 100 CAD + taxes through October 15 (late registration is 150 CAD + taxes up through Oct 25)

Travel Information

Kingston is centrally located between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa where the St. Lawrence River meets Lake Ontario. You can either fly directly to Kingston, or take a train from Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa. One popular option is to fly into Toronto Pearson (Air Canada), or Toronto Island (Porter Air) and take the train (just over 2 hours, with good wifi).
