You May Want to Suggest a Meeting for Your Client
Many meetings, both in English and Spanish, are held in the Contra Costa County. Some of these meetings are in-person and some are online usually using Zoom.

"Closed" Meetings?
"Closed" Meetings?
Some meetings are categorized as "closed". These meetings are open to all alcoholics but not to non-alcoholic observers.
If you want to observe an AA meeting, you are welcome to visit any open (not "closed") meetings. However, the meeting facilitator will ask at the start of each meeting that any new members or visitors identify themselves. Please raise your hand, give your first name, and say that you not a member of AA but there to observe.

Tell your clients that we guard our members' anonymity vigorously. Bosses, family, neighbors and their fellow church members need not know that they attend AA meetings.
However, we members of this committee are willing to reveal our membership in order to inform you about AA.
