C P Anil Kumar

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the KREA University, Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. My areas of interest are Combinatorics, Topology, Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry and Representation Theory.

I received five-year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Then I did another masters in Mathematics from the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. I was in the industry at Infosys Technologies Limited, Bengaluru for a period of five years. Later on, I got my Ph.D. from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. I held postdoctoral positions at the Indian Statistical Institute, Bengaluru, Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy, Bengaluru and Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj.

I am a passionate researcher and during my postdoctoral period I have published more than fifteen papers in various areas of mathematics. I have been awarded merit scholarships such as NBHM scholarships.

I enjoy sports activities such as volleyball, frisbee, swimming, hiking, juggling, cycling, solving Rubik's cubes/dodecahedron.
