-I attended all the outreach events that were put together this quarter. We were able to do classroom visits at Los Osos Middle School, Laguna Middle School, and Morro Bay High School. It was a great time to be able and reach out to the younger generation and provide information about SHPE and discuss what engineering is about. We were able to have the students design and build catapults and seeing the results were always mesmerizing. Not many students are exposed to the field of engineering, so being able to introduce them to it is a great feeling. I’m looking forward to attending more events for the remainder of the year!
