Cassidy is a great photographer. She just has a way of seeing things creatively. Here are pictures of my wonderful visit with them in August.
The view from Kara's dock. It is brackish water and beautiful views.
We tried to spend time every day on the dock--such a peaceful place.
Cassidy is on a paddle board. Great fun off their deck.
Cassidy's bird was such fun.
The entire family is still working in the film industry. Kara is a costumer and stager. She makes or adjusts costumes for various movies. In April, she spent about 6 weeks in Colombia on a movie with Will Smith. A stager recreates a scene from previous filming. One section of a movie may be filmed over a period of weeks. The challenge is to have everything exactly as it was in previous takes. Good thing she is a detail person.
Alex works behind the cameras and does a great job. He still has his wonderful art talent and sings as well. He moved out in February to his own apartment. He is 22 now! He has really grown up into a fine young man.
Cassidy is gaining more work as a make-up artist at age 17. She works off and on for the local Savannah College of Art and Design doing make-up for their projects. She also works on movies in the area. Cassidy has also become a great cook doing much of the family cooking when they are home.
Raymond is now the foreman for his company building movie sets which is good. The challenging part is he goes where the company is hired. He is currently working in Atlanta (5 hour drive) where he has been building the set for the sequel to The Shining. He will possibly be going to New Mexico after the first of the year. Projects usually last about 6 months.
We got out of an escape room in time. It was great fun with these 2 grandkids.
Kara working on set. Isn't she gorgeous?
Running around Savannah together having a great time.
We visited several coffee shops in Savannah--there are a bunch!
