Prayer
Prayer is simply conversation with God, when we share what's on our hearts and listen to God’s voice through the power of the Holy Spirit. Prayer is a central element of life in the Parish of Cowley. Our churches offer a peaceful space amidst the bustle of East Oxford where you can sit, pray or light a candle. This is your Church - come as you are - all are welcome.
Word and Sacrament
God has revealed himself to the world through the Bible. It tells the story of God's people and of his son, Jesus Christ. It offers hope, inspiration and spiritual nourishment as we travel on life's journey.
God has given us the sacraments to strengthen us and equip us. Our worship centers around the Eucharist, in which we encounter Jesus Christ in bread and wine. All are welcome at Christ's table.
Community
We are called to live in and build community and you can be assured of a warm, inclusive welcome in the Parish of Cowley. We are called to serve one another, to be an encouragement to one another, to sing, laugh, cry, and worship together as we journey through life. We are called to be siblings in Christ, reflecting God's boundless love to all around us.
