This partnership supports individuals in gaining clarity, setting goals, and taking intentional action aligned with their values.
Coaching may include:
Thoughtful questioning and reflection
Goal setting and success planning
Strengths-informed exploration
Accountability and encouragement
Skill-building and perspective-shifting
Coaching is centered on where you are now and where you want to go.
To ensure clarity and ethical practice, it is important to name what coaching does NOT include
Coaching is NOT:
Counseling or pyscotherapy
Diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions
Crisis intervention or emergency support
Medical, legal, or financial advice
If a client require support outside the scope of coaching, appropriate referral may be recommended.
The Coach's Role:
Provide a supportive, structured space for exploration
Ask thoughtful and powerful questions.
Offer perspective
Support clarity, growth, and intentional action
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
I do not provide therapy, make decisions for client, or assume responsibility for outcomes.
The Client's Role:
Their own decisions, actions, and outcomes
Communicating openly and honestly
Engaging in the coaching process to the extent they chose
Coaching works best as a partnership, with shared commitment and mutual respect.
Paul Gray Homes has said it best... "Having a coach is like having a GPS..."
