What a wonderful evening we had at our Christmas Wreath workshop.  The Memorial Hall was filled with the invigorating and atmospheric aroma of pine and winter foliage ready to be used in our wreaths.  After a welcome cup of mulled mine and a mince pie, Beat, Sue and Judith demonstrated different techniques for creating table displays, door sprays and wreaths.  Then, to the background tune of ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas …”, it was time for the participants to make their wreath.  What a creative bunch they were! There were some really stunning results, and all so unique in design. The evening was mixture of joyous chatter amongst friends and also moments of quiet, deep concentration - very calming, mindful and therapeutic. It was a most enjoyable evening and a wonderful start to the festive season.
