Dr. In-Chul Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ocean Engineering at Pukyong National University. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Oregon State University and École Centrale de Nantes. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, specializing in Coastal Engineering. He earned his B.S. from Seoul National University, where he also completed his M.S. with a focus on Coastal Engineering.

Dr. Kim’s research focuses on nearshore wave dynamics, including the development of nonlinear wave models and the application of advanced numerical models such as WAVEWATCH III and FUNWAVE. His work also covers real-time wave prediction systems for floating offshore wind turbines.
