Mission Statement

This program’s purpose is to provide collegiate VMEA members with professional guidance, connection, and support from future colleagues who will serve as mentors to pre-service music teachers.

Mentorship

Through “Adopt-A-Student,” collegiate members will be provided with bi-weekly Q&A sessions as well as individualized mentors who will be matched to collegiate members through a matching survey! Our hope is to fill in any gaps or answer any questions that are not covered in our curriculums, as well as create a strong network of music educators and pre-service music educators through out the Commonwealth.
