The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Republic built the “COVID izle” app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Republic at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at “COVID izle” unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

“COVID izle” Safeguards

“COVID izle” is an app that can be downloaded by your own and facilitates the contact tracing process. With your consent, it exchanges Bluetooth signals with nearby phones running the same app.

This allows the user to be informed if he/she were in prolonged physical proximity with an infected person. While this is an urgent public health emergency, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring you have control over your data.

Collected data

We store limited data. At the registration step we ask users to provide Gender, Age and Mobile number only. When a user signs up, a random User ID is generated and associated with his/hers mobile number. Gender, Age and Mobile number and User ID are stored in a secure server, and never shown to the public.

Permissions and Access

“COVID izle” uses Bluetooth to approximate your distance to other phones running the same app. Meanwhile the app also needs GPS and WiFi or mobile network usage access. We do neither collect data about user GPS location nor WiFi or mobile network.

Third-party

Other third-party services will not be able to track your identity.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. we will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
