Kate and Julia are two Ridgewood students (C'23 and C'18) and we created this project with the mission of serving the local community. We wanted to channel our passions and talents into something that could spread love across states and national borders from an appropriate social distance during the pandemic. And the idea we thought of was creating high quality, hand-designed cards, delivering them along with stamps and envelopes, so that anyone could write a loved one without leaving the comfort and safety of their homes.

The immediate goal was to connect people safely through the sending of holiday cards. The bigger goal, more importantly, was to serve the community. We decided that all proceeds would be donated.

In December 2020, Covid Care Cards donated all profits to NJCDC (New Jersey Community Development Corporation), a social service agency based in Paterson that provides educational and service programs to support, educate, and empower children and their families.

We wish to continue to bring quality cards to you to play a small part in connecting you with your loved ones during this difficult time. Additionally, we are committed to serving our local community by supporting different causes.
