For many of us, our lives have turned upside-down. While the pandemic causes many new difficulties in our live, it also offers a unique opportunity to document a historic moment. In fact, extraordinary times are the perfect time to create. . . a photo essay!

Photo essays help us understand and share the world around us. They are similar to written essays, except they use photographs to describe their subjects instead of words.
One popular form of photo essays is photojournalism. Photojournalist use photographs to tell a news story. If you open up a newspaper or log on to a news site, you will notice that many news articles are accompanied by photographs that help readers understand the story.
